Use your imagination.. And names dont have to have 'host' in them, for them to be considered hosting related domain names.. Burstband for example... anyways, not hear to discuss that, by the way, flowinfinity is gone, has been sold...

I can see all of those fitting a web hosting business, or maybe a different type of technology business. Not everyone wants ___hosting. I mean, look at verio, burlee, akishik, aletia. Something that is catchy is better than aaaaaaahosting.

While I'm sure ebo is appreciating this topic rising to the top once again, and sorry ebo for this going off-topic - I've tried using my imagination btw, the point of my query 'why promote the names as hosting related' still stands.

Would WHT be what it is today if Matt had chosen the name 'DriedBabyFood.com'?

An extreme example I know, perhaps I'll just let it rest for now :)

burstband.net - As in BURSTABLE BANDWIDTH. Mainly for dedicated/colocated hosts.
fastpower.net - Fast Power. Fast lines, and strong servers.. FastPower
flowinfinity.com - Unlimited Bandwidth Host.. (Just a thought)
gwihosting.com - GWI Could stand for anything you wish, and there good letters :)
powerblitz.net - Name emphasising strong servers
velocityline.com - Fast Lines, High Speeds. VELOCITY LINE
