I see alot of server companies offering cheap servers, well we are more in tune with trying to reach the people with special needs. One of the products we offer is our ddos firewall. I'm sure alot of you heard about the ddos attacks that took yahoo, ebay and GRC down. Well our firewall can protect you from these kinda of attacks. Let me tell you 5 reasons why you should go with www.httpd.net if you need a firewall.

1. Proper Firewalls - Our firewall consist of 2 Cisco 10000's at 2 qwest data centers each with dual OC12 connectivity. We don't use a generic firewall like most companies. Our firewall, which is 10 pages long (%95 of it is for filtering out unwanted tcp attacks), is loaded directly into the router. Our firewalls can handle over 2 GB/s in ddos attacks, thats more then most companies total connection.

2. Pricing - People do not get charged for ddos attacks. We recieve ddos attacks through out the day and we have never charged a customer for it, the only thing you get billed for is outgoing traffic.

3. Support - We always have someone at the data center to monitor your server and help you with any problems you might have.

4. Reputation - Go ask alot of people who is the best at filtering, our name will probably come up. We host alot of shell companies which bring alot of attacks, if we can keep them up, we can keep you up. Go ask www.falcon-networks.com, www.enforcednet.com, or www.jeah.net.

5. Stability - Our servers don't go down. We have a natural gas generator to keep the power coming.

If you have any questions refer to http://www.httpd.net or contact me at the information below.

I'll vouche for them as well -- outstanding firewalling. Falcon is where I learned about Foo from a few years back, and he has nothing but nice things to say. :) Servers were never down because of DoS (that I was aware of).

If you're going into the shell business, go with Foo (www.httpd.net).

By the way, whatever happened to "Foo"?

not a clue, my guess is argg dropped it cuz it wasn't exactly "professional sounding" if you know what i mean :), foonet.net still fowards to httpd though, so it's all good
