Hi m8, the email notification doesnt seem to work on these boards. I dont know if its something I've seup in my profile, but its a pain in the a*** not getting emails upon a reply...

Is the email routing to a VDI server? One thing I noticed...if I have the mail going to a site on a VDI server, I do not get the email notifications. If I have it switched to something else, anything else, then it goes through fine. If I have it set to go to an email address that forwards it to a VDI email address AND any other address, the VDI addy does not get it, the other host does.

I have multiple sites with several different VDI hosts, and several different Alabanza hosts, and a couple that are neither.

Has anyone else has this problem?

Could it be that emails like this is blocked somehow? I emailed VDI direct to ask, never heard a response.:( I did ask one of my VDI hosts about it (actually we went round and round with it) and it is NOT on the host's part.

If it *is* a VDI problem you might want to speak to William of VDI direct (their director) and he should be able to follow it up for you.

Otherwise, e-mail notification usually works ok for me... :(

Also be sure you have the box checked at the bottom of a reply (small easy to miss).

Well, it ain't a VDI problem...which is HUGE relief cause I really like VDI hosts.:)

There have been two posts to this thread...I did not receive a notification of it. On my profile, I have it as a default to send me notification and to add my sig, so that's not it.

However, in the General Convos section, I did get a notification on a thread I posted in...and several others.
