I have been thinking lately about becoming a reseller, but I have a lot to learn before doing so. So I'm not to that point yet. However, I would like to get my own site up for the present. I like what I see at MCHost as far as reselling goes, but they don't offer individual web hosting plans.

So my question is, if I have my web site hosted somewhere and later decide to become a reseller, is it a major pain(time and cost) to switch later to MCHost?

How about getting a reseller account and setting up your own site yourself. That way, you'll have the best of both worlds.

Well that's what a lot of people do actually. :D As long as you have control of the domain then you shouldn't have much of a problem transferring over.

You could always signup for their reseller and just have one domain on it until you get more customers
