In addition to QSOL and Dell, what do you guys recommend for good 1U servers at a decent price?

Is pogolinux hardware good?

Do you guys find that building your own 1U's is good enough for your demands?

If so, where do you get your 1U cases? What mobo's do you use?

I've got a few Dell's and QSOL's on the way for this batch, looking to try something else for the next dozen machines.

I've been very happy with machines from Penguin Computing (http://www.penguincomputing.com).

Yeah, there are lots of good places to buy Supermicro setups. Usually, I look on the Supermicro web page to find what I want, then go to pricewatch for the best price.

We use them for our Pentium machines and EINUX for our AMD's. Custom requested machines we usually build ourselves.
