Hi. Do you not offer other OS choices? I've noticed the German hosts only seem to offer Suse or Debian? No RH9? CentOS?

I'd be interested in a european host, but my current server is in the US - and they don't do Suse, and I have no experience with it, and Plesk doesn't run on it.. If you offered the same OS/Control Panel solutions as everyone else (ie. the US) then I think you'd get more interest.

Hello,

Custom (other then Debian and Suse) OS installation will cost 25 Euro one-time. I have checked and Plesk runs on Suse - at least this is what I have read from their website.

What control panel would you prefer?

Thanks Dino. I must admit to getting Suse and Mandrake confused.

I'd be interested in Plesk on RH9 (as that's what I currently have), but if I was to move to Suse.. then I might choose a different panel too. Either way, I'll make a choice next year.

I noticed in the website, there was talk of 'managed services'. I'd be interested in some Suse setup and security hardening, with site monitoring afterwards (ie reboot if the site stops responding). Would this be available?

Also, how much for an additional HDD, and extra IPs?

thank you.

@webvendors
The DC is in Coburg.

@D3m0n
As to IRC there is no DOS protection. You can run anything you want but any overages will have to be paid for. You can do anything as long as it is legal.

@gbjbaanb
Just for clarification - we do not own the datacenter. As to panels we can do Plesk, Confixx. We may think about DA but this would require RedHat or Fedora (as far as I know). Next year (the date is not fixed) there will me a wider selection of OS'es to choose from.
Management is a possibility - just email me what do you require. Additional 80GB HDD is 89 Euro one time.

10mbit = 3T BW (max)
how the 10mbit (3T) cost more that 4T?

10mbit full duplex is 3200 in and 3200 out = 6400 combined
Your calculation would be correct if it was a half duplex 10mbit port.
