As everyone knows there isn't a whole lot of domains left for the hosting industry.
Anyway all of them I can think of is either a rip off of something or has a similar name. Thus is is questionable if that domain should be used.
Which one do you like more:
merithosting.com
matrixwebhost.com
nixstarhosting.com
If this was a poll, I'd vote for MeritHosting.com.
Is the other loosely based on the movie?

Not thrilled with any of them, but merithosting is simplest. However, that said, I don't personally like to pick a hosting when someone else has a host...i.e., merithosting when someone else has merithost. Same issue with matrix.
If you were thinking of nixstarhosting, why not unixstarhosting? Why the elimination of the u. Many people would still go to the u.
I would keep looking. You will come up with ideas. Maybe even will find the perfect name for sale...sometimes cheap.

Actually I used this definition loosly to come up with MatrixHosting:
1 : something within or from which something else originates, develops, or takes form
I.E. their website is developed because I hosted it. Dunna, I guess that is kinda off beat.
Anyway I couldn't decide about Merit Hosting because of the Cig Company...
It seems no matter what you pick there is already one...

I've mentioned this in other threads a few times, but it's always worth repeating.
Have a look at www.deleteddomains.com, I just had a look and there are 35 host related domains which have just become available in the last 24 hours.
Check it out.

I am going to try and think of something new, that no one else is using.
Like the one person said, I don't really want a domain name that is a ripoff of someone elses. If I do end up using one like that I will probably go with merit hosting thing..
