I paid $40.00 for a .com renewal.

The company didn't renew the domain, and my site is now history. This happened in October and i'm yet to even see my $40.

The following organizations won't do squat:

AUda.org
ICANN.org
Dept Fair Trading
ASIC.gov.au
Lawlink.gov.au
Legalaid.gov.au

So there you have it. If you want to scam money in Australia, set up a page offering domain services and receive the funds via direct bank depost.

Keep the money, it's all yours no questions asked. Also sleep well knowing you have completely the persons website.

Next time - register and manage your own domains. Don't rely on anyone and don't trust anybody.
