I was wondering what will happen if I set TTLs of 6 accounts to say, 600. They are currently set to 3600(for transferring purposes). Will Bind blow up? The server is empty except those accounts and its a dual xeon.

I think the only thing that will happen is that you'll lower the TTL for those 6 domains. Shouldn't blow up. I do it all the time.

It will increase the load slightly on named/bind but if you do not have 6 very busy sites it is not a problem. I have never had a problem lowering the TTL.
