View Full Version : Helm offering chance to offer reseller accounts?!

I recently checked out the Helm demo at the WHA website and as I was browsing through the demo I noticed that when creating a new user you could choose "administrator" as the account type?! Does this mean that the new "administrator" would be able to offer reseller accounts?! (Obviously I mean additional users besides the main admin!) I didn't think that this was possible without a windows VPS (although the descrepancy over whether windows can have a VPS is still lingering).

If anyone can shed any light on this then I would be greatful.. also if this is correct... does anyone know of a company offering these "administrator" accounts?!

Thanks.

Hi!
I have it but have not had a chance to spend much time with.
As a reseller, it looks like at first glance there is only one type of user to setup. In Hsphere, I have a bunch..admins and whatnot.

As for Windows...
If the processor has hyperthreading..and the OS can support it..I would say it is now possible. Honestly, even *if* it were possible..I don't want it. Linux is the way to go with that, IMHO.

I have two true virutal servers now...Sphera and H-Sphere's FreeVDS, I think. They both are excellent. None run on Windows yet..i don't believe.

Good luck,

Bryon

Hi!
I'm sorry..the answer to your question is no. Helm only allows one level of reselling.

It's early...I need more coffee.
