i signed up for an account at registerfly .. added funds to it through my paypal.
purchased 1 whois protection pack for 1 domain for 0.99$
and then i tried to register a domain. i filled up all the steps. and after did the final step, i got this error
"Unable to connect Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2)"
is it a problem from my side?
i dont think so cos i have no problems with my internet connection.
or is this a temporary problem from their side?
this is the first time im registering a domain and i chose registerfly cos they have a very cost-effective whois protection pack.
i just wonder wats happening .. i clicked on "24/7 Live Sales Chat" .. and this message appeared
"The RegisterFly.com Sales Associates are currently busy attending to other customers. Please contact us via this form or call us at 845-586-5300"
i filled up that form and sent a message to them.
do u guys have any idea abt this error? did it happen to u ever? it will be hard for me to believe that its a prob from my side.

i have another question:
there is a special offer for protectfly till 31dec .. costs only 0.99$ each domain. but after the offer ends, its gonna cost more. i plan to register some domains later in january. so if i buy some whois protection packs now itself. can i use them later in january?
