Do you guys still have those test servers? I noticed that the test downloads on your site ran a bit slow for me.

Hello,

I am interested in one of these for ShoutCast servers.

First of all, a few questions:

1. Is the 10Mbps dedicated or shared bandwidth?
2. Is there an SLA on the network?
3. How do I order one?

1. Dedicated, full duplex 10Mbps flatfee port.
2. Yes.
3. Please mail me on info@leaseweb.com

Hi

If you are looking for a good and stable provider, then Leaseweb is the perfect solution! We use them for over 3 month's now and we did not have a second of downtime! They are great.

I have been speaking to LeaseWeb regarding one of these servers and they did confirm to me that the full 10Mbps would be dedicated to each server, so yes you should be able to push in excess of 3TB per month if you were maxxing it constantly :)

2 x 80 GB SATA
Is it a RAID 1 set up?. If yes, is it a software RIAD or hardware Raid?.

LeaseWeb

You may choose RAID0 or RAID1.
The SATA HD's have driver based software RAID. See http://www.dell.com/downloads/global/products/pedge/en/sc1425_infob.pdf

Thank you!!! Yes, at 19% unless you have a VAT number. These are still great deals though and ive now ordered a server from them.

They said it will take upto 3 working days, so ill update once I have my server.

Thier client area is quite nice and informative, very professional too! :)

@ leaseweb
Do you offer a simular plan for co-location?. If yes what are the prices?.
And what happens to the prices after the contract term?. Are you going to raise the prices for this deal?.

LeaseWeb

1. Please contact me on info@leaseweb.com for colocation quotes.
2. We do not change running contracts. Prices remain the same after the initial term.

Well I am pleased to say that the server I ordered has been delivered on time and from initial inspections, it seems all fine.

Also, communication with LeaseWeb has been great.

Will be configured the new server to my needs and the uptime monitor is already running. Im hoping the network can be as good as the company.

Thanks LeaseWeb :-)
