I was looking through the hosting offers forum and saw quite few posts from people who claimed to be insane, or something similar:

TimPD: "We must be going crazy!"
SplashHost: "Must of Lost my Mind"
jimmyt: "Old guy needs head examination..."

Then of course there's CrazyNetworks and MadHosting.

Well I be darn... Somebody else actual did this too!! Thats the craziest thing I ever saw ..I was about 20 when I tried that and it told me that I should be a gynecologist :D (really)

While it's completely off-topic, there's a company here in Aus called CrazyJohn who sells mobile phones ( or cell phones ) who has an amazingly successful business going. Has a heap of stores everywhere - who would have thought.

I just did a check - crazyhost.com is taken although insanehost.com is still available. Just might be a niche market there for someone.

I think Tim was kind of copying my advertising method, seeing as his post came just shortly after mine.

The first time I saw an insane host was HiSpeed/InterSpeed before they were bought by US.net. They were an unlimited host. In their FAQ, they had a question about why they offered unlimited bandwidth. They said, "We're just plain CRAAAZZZZZYYYYY!!!!!!!!". Maybe I should buy insanehost.com Ya'll stay off it, that's mine, baby!
