hi

im planning to register a domain and put it up for sale in SEDO.

if i register it with a whois protection, will sedo accept it for listing it up in their site?

i read somewhere that sedo requires us to send a confirmation email to them from the email address listed in the who-is record so that there wont b any fraud.
if thats true, is that compulsory for all?
in that case, i cant use a whois protection, can i?

thank u

most whois protection services even if they show a spam filtered address will still forward valid email. I do not see an issue if you use whois protection since the verification email sedo sends you will probably be forwarded to you

The problem is, Sedo requires that you not only receive email at the contact address, but also send email from it. This may cause a problem for domains with whois protection...

SEDO will requiere you to remove the protection to verify the ownership, after that, you can restore it again.
