Hi guys.. got a quick flash question.

I have a flash file that includes some scrolling images that link to pages in an external file called "links.php" The problem I'm having is that the links open new windows.

Can someone help me find where to change this setting? I am not a flash expert at all. I do have the source fla file and Flash MX 2004 to edit it in.

If someone could tell me where I could make this change that would be excellent :D

Select the item that is linking - ie if its a button click the button and open the actionscript window. Look for a getUrl() function and get rid of that last item (should have a target variable in there... to open in a _blank window)

Where do I locate this action script code? It appears that each picture is an object and they are what links to the items.

Click the object and open the Actions Panel. Window>Actions I believe.

When it opens it is usually directly below the stage on top of properties.

Click on the Object and press F9 to open action panel.
