I've been doing a lot of research on XML based WYSIWYG browser editors.  All of those I've found so far look great, but are extremely expensive.  Has anyone used or know of any of such editors for use in a CMS that output the saved content as XML/XSL and won't put me in the poorhouse?

Altova has a promising product (http://www.altova.com/products_doc.html) called Authentic, but am wanting to compare with other free or not so expensive alternatives.
