I am a software developer and just had a bad experience with a low budget project on a credit card gateway registration script.

So I would like to hear if I am just expecting too much or if the customers just offers too little money for that. The project was to set up a registration screen for customers (hosting and domain registration). The cc processing was first with netbilling.com, later came authorize.net as an additional request. The domain registration with eNom.

I would like to hear what you as professional webhost would pay for such a gateway solution. The goal of the project was, not to show the pages of the credit-card company, only the pages of the hosting company (otherwise it would be too easy :D).

I would like to hear your opinions on this.

I'd be willing to pay a $200 one time fee. That is IF I wouldn't be capable of doing some of it myself, and if I felt that I needed it.
