i am in the it field i am very fond of xp so i tried it should i change my os to 2000

Are you trying to run your home pc as a server? Are you behind a router?

I wouldn't even run a server in house, its unreliable. Not safe and the residential internet services aren't the best speeds or quality.

Might want to give windows server a try.
