If I reside in Canada, but my servers are located in the USA, do I have to register my business as a Canadian or a US business?

In Canada, that's unless you are planning on having offices, staff, and "actual business" in the United States.

If you incorporate in Canada or register as an LLC, yes of course.

BTW, you might want to edit your signature as you are violating WHT rules regarding the posting of WHT links in your signature.

Also if you register as Inc, you have to have a board of trustees, which consists of officers (chairman of the board, vice president, secretary, treasurer blah blah blah) and be able to show the minutes of all your board meetings.

Filing as a Limited Liability Company is a lot less of a headache.

You can have LLC if you're running a canadian business.

guess I have to dig into the website a bit more for the information on that. whats the difference between LLC and Inc?
