View Full Version : Forms and emailing results in HTML format

Is there a number of form items that can be on a single page? I have an extensive application that I put online for a client and they are stating that some visitors are having problems with it. They state that it is jumpy, some fields can't be filled in, or other random problems.

Of course, I can fill it out fine and submit it everytime no problem and I have tested it on about a dozen different systems with IE and Mozilla. It is nearly impossible to get accurate feedback from the visitors as to what problems they are having.

Also, the same results of filling out the app are emailed to the client in HTML format. They wanted it to look exactly like the form that is online, so I had to place the form items (text boxes, drop down boxes, etc.) into the email and fill in the results. Confused yet?
Basically the HTML email looks just like the completed app before you hit submit.

So, now the emailed results of the form are not printing. Client states it takes 15 to 30 minutes to print the resulting email. Again, I can print them just fine from a couple of different computers.

The application form has probably at least 300 fields, to the emailed results would have that too. There are no images on the form or email, I was trying to keep it as small as possible, but the page is about 252k, probably largely due to the ammount of form fields.

Anyway, any help, suggestions, or words of sympathy/encouragement :) you could give would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I think a URL to the document would make it much easier for us to help you.
