I see the words 'unlimited transfer' - big 'red flag'. There is no such thing as unlimited transfer (a search of this forum will reveal many explanations).

They're either resellers for or the same company as 'transinc.com' (there are one or two threads on them in this forum), and they are resellers for *****, which doesn't exactly have the best reputation on the Net. Avoid.

Some things I've picked up on from CI Web Hosting:

1. Nobody else has used them that's given an evaluation, so unfortunately there's no one to ask.

2. The following paragraph, obtained from their "terms and conditions", lists the "red flag" limitations that BC referred to earlier (note: this is their wording, NOT mine):

To maintain the integrity of our service the following limitations apply:

Sites with banners, graphics or cgi scripts running from their domain used on other domains. Sites with picture galleries (This is any site where 50% of the files transferred is graphics) Sites offering download files or archives. (This is any site where 50% or more of there monthly traffic is from file downloads). Sites using more than 30% of system resources for longer than 60 seconds. Sites running multimedia files (QuickTime, Real Audio, Real Video, MP3). For those that do not qualify for the unlimited service, traffic will go unmonitored until you reach 25 GB per month. Thereafter, normal data transfer cost of $20.00/1GB/month will be billed to your account. If you want to pre-pay for bandwidth overages, you will be billed $10.00/1GB/month. You will receive a notice on Tuesday morning detailing your bandwidth usage. You will have 7 days to visit http://www.ciwebhosting.com/payment/ to pay for your overages. If you do not pay for your overages your site will be disabled within 7 days of your first notice. CI Web Hosting will be the sole arbiter as to what constitutes a violation of this provision.

In other words, it's unlimited so long as you do like most rookie web designers and put up a simple three-or-four page site with a few pretty pictures that you downloaded and one of those cheesy backgrounds that looks like someone spit up all over the place and don't try to do anything much (in other words, a typical Geocities/Angelfire-quality page. :)

One encouraging sign (if it works) is that they do have an 800 number to call for tech support. What I would do to test the "24/7" aspect of it is wait until about 11 in the evening, then call it, then if someone actually answers, say you dialed the wrong number (if you get a menu system, just hang up). At least this way you know if it's legit.
