I need to download a file directly from a site on the net, to my server, since it's about 250 MB, and both servers are thousands of km's away from me (in a whole different country ffs) it would take literally forever to download and re-upload.

Can anyone help me, i'm looking for a simple way to download the file straight to my windows server. I have DOS access, I just need like a wget command or something (wget is how you download stuff in *nix).

Thanks in advance!

if you can install software onto the windows server, you could use the win32 port for wget (http://unxutils.sourceforge.net/).

I have always found wget for windows to work pretty good.
