The colors could do with a tweak. Using blacks and greys with your prominant blue doent work as well as it could. Try a monochromatic color scheme based on your blue with about 5 tonal steps from the darkest to lightest blue. Stick to these 5 tonal values for your overall design and it will look much more harmonious.

yup ok lookin good.
Next thing would be to make the left logo the same height and lined up with your site title text and reduce. I'd also consider changing the logo so that the second "S", isn't reflected but offset by the same angle and amount as the dropshadow on title text. Increase the logo text size 1-2 pt and use a narrow screen font like arial narrow. (I cant read that logo, nor could I understand what it said for a while; logos should be easy to understand- not cryptic).
If you make the logo alteration, give it the same setting dropshadow as the title. You want the logo and title text and shadows to line up and look to be lit from the same light source.
Consider reducing the top and bottom stroke of the horizontal strip to 1pt and reducing the height of the gradient strip underneath the header by 1/2. Its color also does not match the scheme, it's too saturated. Mute it a touch by bringing saturation down 20-40.
Try and get the global links to align left with the title text.
