Is anyone running CPanel on a box at Rackshack? We're looking at acquiring a couple more servers, and are strongly considering them. But, we are currently a CPanel shop, and want to stay that way.

I anticipate that there would be no problems. The only thing would be to request a vanilla install of Red Hat 7.x, and you should be able to buy the Cpanel license and software from a reseller. Right?

If anyone has any experience running Cpanel on Rackshack servers, I'd be grateful if you could share it.

The server deals they have include strong incentive support from Ensim and Plesk. I think for a clean install you would either have to pay extra (if they would even do it) or do it yourself. Even then, I wouldn't be too sure. I suggest you go to the rackshack forum and ask. Would be very interested in hearing the response.

At present moment Rackshack won't sell a box without Ensim or Plesk. Not even if you pay them ;)
