I'm wondering what people use to remotely monitor their server status. I either want to find a 3rd party site that does it, or site monitoring software for my NT box to do it. I know about easymonitor.com, is there any others?
There are tons of free ones:
www.qwkmon.com
www.serverrat.com
If you want a program, you're going to have to pay. You can look at ipMonitory by deepmetrix. Great program.
Another is WhatsUp Gold. There are tons.. try doing a search and you'll find lots of info since it's been discussed numerous times.

If you're looking for a software based solution as opposed to a service, a great program is Net Monitor by Karen Kenworthy. Karen is a former Windows Magazine editor.
She cranks out great tools like this for free!
Her main site is at: http://www.karenware.com/
Net Monitor is at: http://www.karenware.com/powertools/ptnetmon.asp
Good luck.

Amongst others tools, we run Eye in the Sky (http://www.8th-wonder.net). US$25. Checks specified connections and ports, and publishes a local html file showing the status of all servers. That gets uploaded on a scheduler to a location we can all check from anywhere.
