Hi,
Im from the UK personally, but my partner has been trying to get Credit Card Processing sorted, so that we can have funds transferred into our account within 2-3 days (with merchant account)
However where ever he goes they ask for a personal gurantee
" they want me to say that if the company defaults or there is a problem - they can come and take it out of my house or personal checking account "
Which is kinda strange, and really stupid.....
So what do the business over here use and have u agreed to such a gurantee.....
If anyone knows of a merchant and processing company, which dont require this gurantee, please let me know via email, pm or post it here...
Thanks in advance
Kind Regards
Shazad

I'd also be interested in hearing about how people get round this as i've had the same problems.
The house & cars are all in my wife's name. Technically I don't "own" any of it. The retirement savings plans are in her name, as well. All I have is a couple hundred dollars sitting in a checking account for spending money. I do this to reduce my liability in a lawsuit (due to an offline job I have), but I imagine it would work in this business, as well. If you aren't married, there are other ways to reduce the amount of stuff you own. Rent a house instead of buying. Lease a car. If you do own a house, make sure you have enough liability insurance to cover the equity you hold in the house.
From what I have seen, this is quite common (and goes against the myth that incorporating means you can't lose the house). It's good for the banks in that it means you won't apply unless you're serious about your business plan & willing to take on some of the risk yourself.

Well, your an expert at fraud, you should be able to figure out how to screw the CC companies like you do your clients.
All this trouble for $100. Wouldn't it be easier just to refund our money instead of loosing all kinds of business from disgruntled ex-clients from which you took money but never provided the service?

RVachon-
Well you posted this message in 5 different forums, and under a different username as well. We understand that you lost $100 with cabal, but there are always 2 sides to a story. Please don't cross post your messages.

Humm..no i did not post to different forums...chekc the IP...I'm with the same client that got screwed, but not the same person..sorry.
Yes there is 2 sides to the story, lets here yours Shazad. I also haev some ICQ transcripts between him and a friend, and it's not pretty. I won't post them here lets put it this way.
This individual has to be exposed for his fraudulent ways of doing so called business. I don't wnat others to be screwed like we were. Since it's not worth going to court, informing people is the only other way. We gave him a lot of time to refund our money but he refuses. It's his own fault that it's led up to this.

Ray, in case you haven't notice, these forums have rules.
I am not taking side or saying who is right or who is wrong, but you can't just hijack your experience into this thread. Just because you are angry doesn't mean you can grap any thread and turn it into a discussion about you. This is a discussion about credit card processing, not you.
If you want to talk about your experience, post a new thread in the General Forum or the Dedicated Forum.
