Most of us are with Enom ..if you look over the forum you could find a free reseller offers ($8.95 per domain) with enom.

I would like to recommend Directi (http://www.directi.com). You may would like to check their priceing scheme at http://www.directi.com/resellers/pricing/ . There is no reequirements to deposit anything in your reseller account to start with. You can see a comparision chart of DirectI with other domain registrar at http://www.directi.com/resellers/comparsion-chart .

We have been using them since begenning. They were having some issues with their APIs etc. but they are now fixed and it has become a mature product now.

Enom, service is decent. Although I have quite a few issues with their DNS servers.

hello, thank for the info. here is something i don't understand

$6.99 per Domain year for a New or a Transferred .com/.net/.org Domain Name and $0.49 per year per Service for any Domain Forwarding, Mail Forwarding, Managed DNS Service.

so...it cost $6.99 to register a domian and .49 for other service...when they said managed DNS service. does it mean that i can use their DNS service instead of hosting on my own server.

DirectI has a nice and cheap reseller program. I use them and love them!

Hope this helps :) So you don't get emails every day warning you about upcoming downtime? I blocked their email address. (Signed up for a reseller account but avoided using it due to that.)

No. Now you hardly receive any mails from them what so ever. You will only receive a mail from them that they have introduced a bla-bla new feature :)

There are only a few people who actually make use of other servies like Domain forwarding, Mail forwarding and managed DNS Service so they have excluded them from the cost of domain registeration. This way you don't hv to pay for the other services if you are not using them.

Yes, you are right.

Can I "register" name servers without thier DNS service?

You mean private name servers?
Yes, ofcourse. It is free. Login into your domain control panel and click on child name server tab. That's it.

i have using directi and enom .

I think directi's pricing is excellent, but the api is a bit confusing, so is their branded pages, i had customers that got confused and annoyed with it

I have used directi fore quite sometime without any problems,but now am having major support issues with them (I have send in 4 support request and still have not convienced them that theres a problem)...


I would proceed with caution

We've had some experience with DirectI, they are good, but seeing that our account grew with them as well as the company grew over the past year, it seemed like the more domains they took care of the more problems showed up.

We use Enom, and yes, we too noticed some issues with DNS's. But to compare Enom to DirectI, we would still no matter what stick with Enom.

I could speak with our manager if you would like a reseller account, we can set one up for ya, domains like .com, .net, .org would go for ya at $8.95/yr.

We've been using Directi for almost 2 years now with 1000+ domains registered with them. Have had little or no issues and support is generally fast.

I've never used directl , I used with enom services and never have any problems with them.
