I'd just like to thank the CPanel/WHM team for doing a fantastic job over the past few weeks!

Great features are now being added on a daily basis and it seems to be getting better by the day.

I'd be interested to know which control panels you feel are way better.

I think he is referring to hostgui. In the not-so-distant future, maybe even virtualcp from mchost.

the worst thing about cpanel is that when i did an upgrade interchange and mailing list stoped working. i have to restore old versions of those software from backup otherwise i must have been in the hell. :(

With the new features come new bugs..... To an already buggy system... Instead of adding new features, they need to work on fixing the software up, instead of adding more bells and whistles...

The way I see things, praise where praise is due. We are happy CPanel users and just wanted to go on the record and mention that. I am not saying that I think the other control panels are bad.

Having said that, I do find it a little strange that it can be said that brand new and even unreleased control panels systems are better than CPanel.......but hey!

I second that. Its just like saying Starwars Episode 2 is better than the first.

Somehow i am tired to hear how buggy the cpanel is.

I mean, cpanel as some bugs but guys - YOU HAVE a hosting company and YOU HAVE TO KNOW how linux is working!!

Why all of the lame guys here are going down after a little time? Because the have no clue how to admister a Server. Cpanel is a good software to give to your endusers. But the rest YOU have to do!

Well, we do fix most of the bugs by ourself and we do have no problems with this. The fact is, that is cheaper for us to rent Cpanel and to fix the bugs then to code our own software. And i can promise you that i know how much you need to code that software - for a good software with as many bugs as poosible calculate at least 2 years.

Just want to say: Before you make a bad statment about a software learn first basic linux.

While I've had my fair share of gripes here and there I'm with you. The recent updates to CPanel (especially from the server owners end of things) have been great. No complaints here

I'm not sure about you but I dont like working for free, nor do I wish to pay $90 a month for a control panel that I have to debug myself constantly just so it works the way it was supposed to. You said it best in your own statement quoted above.
