(www.cj.com has a whole bunch of them, but individual hosts often have there own programs, like www.DreamHost.com for example) Another few options which may interest you: www.resellerspanel.net www.bulixhost.com www.wildwestdomains.com Best of luck. Lebanon 12-18-2004, 05:21 PM Is there a special product you are requesting to sell ? or is it hosting and domains which you are requesting ? iGabe i dont think he is looking for cj.com or even dreamhost or like that! because on those cases the support is not anonymous ! Even if you resell for dreamhost for example through an affiliate or even if u have a dedicated server but using their panel you will still have to leave their Brand and Logo on top ! The only case with dream host that you do not mention them is when you go dedicated with your own panel not theirs. I think he is looking for what is called : Private Label Resellers , eventhough those doesnt provide support in your behalf but am sure many would accept to do that for him as a startup untill he can manage his own customers! All those can be found , echazen if you need further help do not hesitate to contact me and i can show you lists of what your looking for depending on what type of product your intending to market .! Support scripts arent expensive, I'm sure un-branded support for YOUR clients direct from your host would be. echazen 12-19-2004, 01:34 AM it seems that iGabe's link has the answer i was looking for. thanks shaokhee 12-20-2004, 10:55 AM Another 2 links for you www.diyhosting.com -> not sure whether still offer end user support, since they are remove from their website. www.jodohost.com joshuayip 12-20-2004, 01:07 PM Varhosting.net hostingzoom.com webwatcher 12-20-2004, 05:09 PM Just recently jumped ship from P4Host & it looks like it was just in time. My vote - Site5 all the way - not to dis hostgator, because I was looking at them too but Site5 had the package I was looking for, & now they have a special even better than the one I signed up for. If you want to see the current special they have going you can click on my website button below as I've set up a page with their current offering details or you can just visit their site...Highly recommended. SilverSting 12-20-2004, 08:34 PM site5 doesn't provide end-user support.. or does it ??? I think echazen was looking for a company to do his support tickets. SilverSting 12-20-2004, 08:51 PM Originally posted by echazen it seems that iGabe's link has the answer i was looking for. thanks so who did you go with ??? webwatcher 12-21-2004, 02:09 AM oops, my bad. You're right, I need to support my clients. They've been basically trouble free for me so far which is a stark contrast to my previous host(s) so I guess I chimed in where I shouldn't have. For anonomous end user support you're probably talking a lot more $$ than the hosts I'd use...but then I wouldn't want my clients talking to my provider, ya know. reseller8 12-21-2004, 04:03 PM I think xlshost.com will handle all that for you I think. echazen 12-22-2004, 02:43 AM i haven't gone with anyone just yet. i think that bizland has what i am looking for. i just want to have all my clients be hosted and supported by a reliable host, but have them think that i am hosting them. that's all i want. anyone know anything better than bizland? iGabe 12-22-2004, 02:58 AM I'd actually advise against Bizland. I too was impressed by their program(50/50 is a fair deal) when I first started looking for reseller options. But if you search around this forum -- and Google in general -- you will (unfortunately) find tons of bad experiences with Bizland. Unreliable servers, incompetent tech support, missed payments, etc etc etc. Read multiple stories about resellers venting about how their clients have been calling and complaining constantly. Choose wisely. Don't take my word for it. IMHO, if you seriously want reliability and a generally good name to host your clients, you may want to go with WildWestDomains. GoDaddy is behind them, and they are excellent about answering calls 24/7. And yes, I have heard horror stories about them, but I've heard an equal number of happy users, which is unusual. echazen 12-24-2004, 08:15 PM so BizLand sucks. but i like their system. they host all your clients and handle all your support, but it looks like you are hosting them. is there another company that has the exact same program? iGabe 12-24-2004, 08:33 PM Well those links I gave in my first reply to your post are very similar... Resellerspanel and Bulixhost. Both let you set it up so it looks like you are hosting them. Both naturally have good and bad thread about them, but you be the judge. IMHO, all the good reviews seem to be describe very positive experiences for resellers clients. As far as I can tell, most of the bad reviews of these two offerings are just people bitter about not having someone pay for a reseller plan ;-) Unlike these two, bizland has a lot very scary reviews. :-/ BSparks 12-26-2004, 02:31 AM CIHost.com iGabe 12-26-2004, 03:30 AM CIHost is a mixed bag. I strongly urge you to search for threads about them before signing up for them. They have very lovely options, but I got seriously scared away by some peoples writings. Based on what I've read about them, I'd be much more comfortable hosting my own small personal website with them(not much risk) than I would be as a reseller trusting them to provide quality service to my customers. villadrive 03-08-2005, 01:19 AM If you have not chosen a reseller just be sure to avoid p4host.com - they are not THEY, it seems to be only one guy trying to keep it all together. I am currently looking for another place to move to... |
