In the past few months, we have started offering dial-up service and it has had a great response especially in our state (West Virginia) because broadband is not really widely avaliable here at all.
We are looking for two or three remote technicians that would be willing to handle support calls via phone and e-mail. We would provide an e-mail account and a cellular phone that would be used for support purposes and so there would be no cost to you.
You would be addressing standard issues regarding dial-up setup, settings, random disconnects, etc. Occasionally there might be some pre-sales questions thrown in as well. We would simply add the cellular phone number to the phone system and when a call comes in, it will be transferred to all of the technicians and the technician that answers their phone first will take the call. We do have some local technicians but would like to expand to other areas simply to provide a more diversified schedule of avaliability.
If anyone is interested, please send your resume to timothyd@pcpshosting.com along with a brief description of what kind of salary/payment you would require.
Depending on the agreements, we may hire technicians on an hourly basis, pel call basis, or just pay a set salary. The work load really isn't heavy at this time so I thought it might be ideal for anyone who is working from home doing web hosting support.
Have a great day and please feel free to direct any questions to me.
