Hiya

im using an opensrs reseller right now for my domains.. im thinking of transferring them to stargate.com

i just have a question about stargate.. do they offer a control panel like opensrs does? (where you can login to your account and see all your domain names?)

thanks

You are with the best. Have you encountered any problems or is it simply a pricing issue? If it's simply cost, then it's not worth it if you have a service you're satisfied with.

its just that stargate is 1/2 the price of my current registrar

its adds up when you have a lot of domains

I recommend OpenSRS if you can afford to pay for the first 25 domains up front ($250) or otherwise Dotster. OpenSRS is $10/domain, Dotster is $12/domain. I have had excellent service from both.

Yes, Opensrs gives you the benefit to to changes from their site directly ( even if your actual registrar should be down for the moment ).

Great Topic!
I was wondering the same thing.

From the research I have done on both,
I am currently leaning towards Stargate Inc.

Advantages

$6.95-8.00 domain resale pricing, depending on the amount of domains you buy.
Checked out the Control Panel for both the Admin of the registar, and for the customers. Both (to me at least) look great. And have tons of options/features.

And Carm I will try and find link the link to the Control Panel(s).
Or you can just email the owner, dwelbourn@stargateinc.com
With any questions/links. He has been more then helpful, responding to all three emails I have sent him in the past few days.

I have more than 200 domains regitered from stargate
I think the worst regitrar support is stargate support's.
very bad support .
and u cannt register at any time u want ,
every week his program has 3-10 problems ( down )

Now, I am looking for other registrar
opensrs is great but u must pay $2 more for each domain .

But I would be glad to pay OpenSRS much more than $2 additional over Stargate. OpenSRS is just so professional and so dependable.

Have tried for two days to do a whois on stargate domains-unsuccessfully.
