Hey guys,
Great forum you have here. As a friend of someone who runs a hosting company, I thought you guys may want to hear about a new program on the horizon my company has recently developed.
The product is called NETObserve, and it has just reached version 2.0. It is a powerful remote web based surveillance and administration product. What does this mean? Put simply - it allows you to monitor any given amount of computers from any location via a web browser. You're probably asking yourself how this can be of use to you. Well, for starters, it has the ability to monitor internet chat conversations for AOL/ICQ/MSN/AIM. Now, if you happen to offer ICQ [or another medium] based support, you can automatically have those support conversations recorded and stored. This could help in many ways, such as organizing them, taking pieces of the support dialog out for FAQ's, etc.
NETObserve is also a great way to keep track of your employee's. You can monitor all of their PC usage - after all, they are working for YOU, so they should be doing what they are supposed to. NETObserve can log all keystrokes, websites visited, windows interacted with, applications ran and even screen shots. It also can monitor all images/text sent to the clipboard, printed documents, and even take captures from external video devices such as web cams. NETObserve also logs the current Windows user and timestamp for unbeatable accuracy. Combine all that, plus the ability to view these logs remotely in real time make NETObserve an ideal choice for keeping tabs on all your employees, at ALL times.
Aside from monitoring employees, NETObserve is also a great administration tool. Through the NETObserve Web Control Panel, you can browse the remote file system [in an Explorer type interface] and transfer files, rename files, move files/directories and more. This gives you that extra layer of security incase your floppy or CD breaks, which happens frequently. If your CD or floppy happens to break, all you need to do is connect and transfer the file to your machine - its as simple as that. And, if you do not know where the file is, you can use the integrated file search to search for the file quickly.
Also, if you have lots of favorite places stored which may contain contacts, affiliate sites, information, etc, you can instantly access these from the NETObserve Control Panel. This makes it very easy to view important sites on the go, without having to remember millions of URLs.
Although I have only explained a few of the features found inside this software, I hope that I have sparked your interest, and you may in interested in checking it out. You can find out more details by visiting the site below. Feel free to contact me directly if you would like any additional information, or have any questions or concerns.
