View Full Version : 2checkout problems with wire transfer

on november-24-04 2checkout sent me a wire transfer (as written inside my control panel) however today i didn't recive that transfer...I open a ticket a few days ago and they told me somone will investigate. Anyone else waiting soo long to recive a wire transfer from 2checkout?
PS: my back account details are correct as i had the same with paysystems and still have it with paypal.

I usually receive money from them in 24-48 hours (Eastern Europe). Never had problems so far.
I have another problem with them. Today (2004-12-18) I got confirmation email of 5 payments but none of them showing in my account. Anyone else with a similar problem?

Aslo i had to complete some finacial/tax things until Dic. 27° and if i do not recive this money i had to send credit notes to all customers payed trought 2checkout and tell them that i never recived there money. Then they have to go to ask a chargeback to 2C or Visa...
RofyHost 12-18-2004, 06:00 PM I am from Morocco and got my bank transfer within 4 business days, it is not normal that it takes over 15 days at most.

Normally bank wire transfers are automated when someone have a wire transfer going on its not filled with manual entry or by person actually the money is routed through SWIFT or bank routing number
I think in Italy it is a SWIFT right ? If yes please read on....
Now let me suggest something which happens billions of times aday.
Your swift for example could look like : XXXX.XX.XX you might fill it with XXXXXXXX , now you could run 100 wire transfer and the computer will let it pass to its true bank account and for one time it will stumble at the DOT and wont pass and await a manual route or someone just to tell it to go through !
Try calling the bank , or if you want before you do , check out whats your intermediatry bank !
nb: ALL BANKS have an intermediatry bank in NewYork it is not an option it is a fact
Anyway your bank can directly verify with your intermediatry if there is really any wire stuck there and can move it to be recieved in 48 hours.
This thing can happen and does happen ! So do verify with your bank !

I aready contact my bank and they made a reseach but nothing...If 2checkout would replay to my tickets and tell me the intermediatry bank, my bank could search again... but i had no replay for many days from 2C

Lebanon 12-19-2004, 09:19 AM and btw its not 2CO who can give you the name of the intermediatry bank ! you can do it from your bank website or do a simply search you will find it , its not any secret info
WWWhost 12-27-2004, 06:55 AM still no money yet.... at this point i think they didnt' send that money or they dont know what they are doing on 2C. It seems i just lost $1.500 with 2checkout... also they couldn't give me any trace number right now for this wire. I think they should take more care about they customers. At this point i have to go to tell our customers to ask a chargeback and have to report to visa and.. and ..and...
In other words Dont' use 2checkout.com

I have also a problem with the wire transfer from December 16th, it is 27th now the funds are not yet here. Their support told me that they cannot open an investiogation until 10 business days have passed.

WWWhost 12-31-2004, 10:17 AM just recive an e-mail from 2C. Tehy told me that my finds are returned to 2C because the bank could not "identify the beneficiary"
Stange as i use this bank account settings fro several years wiht paysystems (in the past) and still with payplal and never had problems.
i ask to re-send teh funds and changed teh beneficiary from my company name to my Name.
Hope this will help. Anyway i will let you know...

You see 2CO have an unbreakable habit of sending the vendors money everywhere but the right place, then our banks in Europe (TOM doesn't recall there are banks in Europe)naturally send the money back as the so well up and literate staff in 2CO usually fail to put the correct sort codes or the correct swift codes on the banking details.Of course the vendors are to blame,they do not want their own money so they give the wrong info on purpose!!!!:rolleyes: :rolleyes:
2CO have a habit of changing all the codes around as they like to play Russian Roulette with other peoples money,well they used to do this 2 years back, and blow me they still haven't learnt any lessons about European banking and here we are in nearly 2005!!!:emlaugh: :emlaugh: .
WWWhost 01-02-2005, 11:33 AM yes this story is strange as i used this bank details for many years and still use them for paypal. NEVER had any sort of problem.
I will let you know, of course, if my funds will be send to the right bank... hope they will re-send it withing a few hours...
