View Full Version : Linking 2CO and Lpanel

Im posting this here and in the Lpanel forums. It might apply to other software so someone here might be able to help me...

In Lpanel's documentation, it says to create the packages on 2CO (I'm on the v1 platform). So I did. Then it told me to enter the product ID in Lpanel. This is where I'm confused.

2CO gives me the ID# (example 1,2,3,4,5,6,etc...) and My Product ID (example : planname1, planname 2)

Which one do I put in Lpanel? I would think the ID#, but I'm not sure anymore

Also, there's 4 fields, each under a billing term. Monthly, Bi-monthly, etc...Do I put it under all of them? or only under monthly (as they refer to monthly recurring packages)?

One last question : I created 2 services, both are recurring, one is monthly, the other annual. I created them in 2CO as well, but I don't see anywhere in Lpanel where I can enter either Id for them....

Anyways, that's about it

Thanks,
Anthony

just to be a little more clear on this :

In Order to Setup Subscriptions to work with your Packages:

1. Login to your 2Checkout account
2. Select Products and then click on "Add a Recurring Product"
3. Create a product ID (ex: recurring1)
4. Enter the product description (ex: Hosting Package 1)
5. Enter the recurring billing amount, and the Periodicity (also known as Term)
6. Enter any Start Up Costs.
7. Click "Add"
8. Finally, make sure you add the actual product id parameter to the corresponding package in the Packages editor, located in the Packages script under the Configuration menu in the Admin Lpanel.

I did all those steps, but I'm unsure wether I use 2CO's product ID (1,2,3,4,5,etc..) or the one I created(recurring1, recurring2, etc...)??

And I still can't find a field for the other 2 services yet

Okay, new problem. Figured the others out.

what's happening is, I have my monthly recurring plans (going thru 2CO or Paypal). Now all goes well up to that point. The hitch is, I have 2 services that can be subscribed to, one billed monthly, the other yearly. Whenever someone chooses a monthly plan, along with a service, the 2CO page is basically the "One-Time payment" page, not the recurring page (if someone chooses a monthly plan and no services).

The support is kinda dismal on their forums. I've been replying to my own thread (and sent a support ticket...granted, only been a few hours for the ticket) with my "trial and error" posts (id#'s and etc...) but I just love the software

Anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks,
Anthony
