I am getting ready to create my biz cards...
I wanted to get your opinion on somethings...

What information do you have on the card?

I am going to have an 800 (toll free) number that rings into the office (local line), and a dedicated fax number.

Would you put the 800 number and the local line and the fax number on the card?
Or just the 800 and fax?
Or just the local and fax?

Also, for vanity numbers (800-***-HOST)...
If you decided to put the 800 number on the card...
would you put 800-***-HOST or spell out the numbers 800-***-*** or put both 800-***-HOST (****)?

Anyone have any pics of their cards want to share for ideas?

THanks!

One thing I've discovered - and I share it here even though it's pretty obvious, you'd be surprised at how many people DON'T know or ignore this idea) - is that you leave the back of your card blank. Leave yourself the back to make notes on for people. I can't tell you how many extra cards I've handed out with www.mozilla.org written on the back or some other such nonsense. Not only does it give them info they are needing but they are more likely to keep your card around longer which means more impressions.

I've also found that. When searching for a piece of paper to jot a quick note on myself I often write it on the back of other peoples cards, which usually means I keep them alot longer.

I would put the toll free number and fax. No need really to have the local number on there.

Here's a copy of my business card, don't have one of my upcoming hosting company yet, obviously though I do have a much higher quality image to print from, but no need to upload that to the web.

Nice card usrbingeek, though I always think the simpler the better. I dont liek to get cards with more then 2 colors on them on a nice peaice of stock. Alot of cards these days are looking like print mail peices and I think it is a turn for the worse. Kind of like all the flashy websites, people like simple to the point advertising.

OxnardMontalvo:

That makes sense...but...
I was actually going to use the back side to show some of my plans and features that I offer...
The biz card will be like a small flier...
I am also going to have a coupon code on there for 10% off...so I could track all the sales/leads that come from my biz cards!

usrbingeek:

Nice card...

Thanks. My web hosting business card will be simple. Only reason the bfmedia one isn't is because of the line of work I do with bfmedia.
