Can some one tell me , when one creates a full backup file using cpanel, and stored in home dir, when we use FTP to download it, does it contribute toward the bandwidth calculation?

Joshua YUPAPA 12-14-2004, 01:55 PM Even though I have never used CPanel, I think it does count the towards your bandwidth consumption ~ Everytime you download things via FTP, it tracks the number of bytes transferred to your machine ~ sonixi 12-15-2004, 12:17 AM Yes. FTP counts against your bandwidth usage. joshuayip 12-15-2004, 01:23 AM Can this count be omitted by the host ? I think hostdime doesnt count it YUPAPA 12-15-2004, 02:22 AM No idea how cpanels setups ~ If you the backup is saved under your main account (the one you login to update and make changes to your web page), it should count ~ |
