Does anyone know anyway to reach burstnet?
My server has been down 4:30 hours and counting...
I called them. paged them, faxed them, no answer.
Please help, if anyone knows any other way to reach them.
The reason I'm posting this message in this forum is because there are a lot of burstnet customers and I'm desperate.
I don't want to start a war over burstnet.

Please reply only if you have any other numbers, I have a lots of angry customers.

Thanks

I can get to their site just fine.

Can you get to your server by using your IP address?

Ok I assume that Nice Guy and urgent are the same person here.

Well if you can't get into Shell by using your servers IP you are at Burst's mercy to reboot you. At which case I ask. How far do you live from Pennsylvania? ;)

Actually I would suggest continuing to try calling them... When I had a server with them that usually worked. I guess they didn't like hearing the phone ring... ;)

I am starting to wonder if they are even there on late Saturday/early Sun. I tried calling at 3 AM EST and no one answered either.

6 hours now. Still no-one is available to. I'm trying non-stop.
I will pay big bucks, if someone who's close by and could drive to burstnet and knock on the doors, in case someone is sleeping on the job.

John is usually there on the weekends. I would love to help you but seeing as I live in South Carolina that would be a rather long drive.. ;)

Have you tried them over AOLIM?

Sure I live about 2 Hours or less from them, but I would be willing to bet they wouldnt let me in either one because of security issues and not being a customer and two maybe nobody is truely there.

Of course if what was mentioned in a previous post is true (which I have yet to verify) I could always just eat a sub, that way it wouldnt be a total waste of time and gas :D

Sorry bud you truely are at the mercy of Burst until they are reached.

I finally got in touch with John. Servers are up.
8 hours 45 minutes downtime. All he had to do is reboot the server.

I usually don't believe most of what I read.
I think I just learned my lesson.

Thank you

Our server goes down every hour for the past 4 days. Server rebooted, 1 hour passes and the server goes down.

Most of the hardware was already replaced on it, but no resolution.

We have moved to them from another provider, and I'm already looking for a new one. I can't seem to find a reliable ded. company, I'm willing to pay top dollar.

I've been calling them since 8am, no one still picked up :( - life is tough.

We also had one of our servers down. I just sopke with John at BurstNet at 2:50 PM CST. My #2 server has been down for a good 5 hours. My customers are telling me it is 6 hours!

BurstNet only has one person working on the weekends. Their is a break in coverage when that person goes home to sleep! If you have a server down during that time you are just out of luck!

This is the 2nd weekend that I have had problems. Last weekend it was not a big deal but this weekend it was a big problem!

I will be calling at ask that this be corrected! My company can't afford having a server down for 6 hours due to no one at the NOC to reboot it!

I do understand things break but this was something that could of been fixed in 5 mins if they had a body on site!

In reading this post it looks like it is more of a BurstNet Network problem! The earlyer this week all of our servers went down but the BurstNet site was up. The tech said it was a network problem. This time it was only one of our servers. The others were working fine.

Don't get me wrong! We have had very good luck at BurstNet! The value for the product is very good but the service has been lacking as of late. I still thing BurstNet is a good company!

I hope the NEW Customer Service Rep. they just added will tell them they need 24/7 coverage in the NOC. Even if it is juat a body that can just reboot things and or call for help when things go REAL wrong!
