Hello,
I am going to be setting up my own hosting company. I have a website laid out, a template made... etc..etc... I have also read a great deal from searching on these forums (which are awsome, btw!). I've narrowed it down to three hosts: Doreo, SonataWeb, and ResellerZoom. I would like to know which of these three is the best value for the money. To me, RZ kind of sounds too good to be true, am I mistaken?
Any input greatly appreciated!
Sincerely,
Christian A. Hebock

Doreo hosts phpbb.com. That sure says somethign about their size and stability doesn't it?
Sonataweb has quite a solid customer feedback here at the
forums.
ResellerZoom's prices does seems abit low, but they are new.

•Doreo uses Ensim. From what I've learned, automated billing/account creation for Ensim is complicated. I personally loved Ensim from a user perspective, but I don't how about the reseller part.
Haven't heard of Doreo before though, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything as I've used a lot of great hosts never mentioned on WHT.
•Sonata and RZ use cPanel. cPanel integrates with automated billing/support ticket scripts quite easily.
Both of them seem like good companies. Heard good things about Sonata on WHT. I know HostingZoom(same people as RZ) have been getting pretty good marks even though they are pretty new too.
Best of luck choosing a host.

I would recommend using Cpanel for hosting. Cpanel is more user-friendly and feature-rich for webmaster.
Look at some of cpanel/WHM reseller hosting plan.
You will be surprise the big difference between cpanel and ensim.
You can check out plesk too.

Hey everyone! Thanks for your replies... I must agree about cPanel, I've been hosting a small site with Server's Hit, and that, along with a couple of sites I admin use cPanel. Just was wondering about it's security :P In then end, you've convinced me to go with Sonataweb.net... It seems to be a trusted, and quite reliable. Thanks to all who replied... Your opinions are greatly appreciated!!!
I'll post a review once I've got some experience with the company ;-)
Thanks!
Christian

ResellerZoom has a good reputation around here.
If I were you I will find a host that provides Money Back Guarantee, Therefore you have nothing to lose.

Hello,
I have been fiddling with webhosting on and off for 12 months. The future into purchasing a webhosting resellers package is docketthost.com
Thats my honest opinion
Why?
You can purchase a plan from as little as $26 US the plan is huge and they are moving to a users pay type of system instead of pay ing for certain bandwidth and hard drive space which will let you oversell but be warned any account liek this needs to be managed.
The control panel is H-Sphere and teh only thing cpanel has is Fantastico however I am told an alternative will be made soon for H-Sphere. The good thing is that I do not need modernbill as the ordering process is built in. The options in H-Sphere compared to WHM is huge.
With support docketthost takes care of this so if a customer of mine has an issue they post a ticket via the control panel which goes straight to docketthost and they handle and manage the issue.
The other great thing is they offer domains @ $7.95 and you can sell these at any price you want to and you don't need a domain resellers account.
Now for $26 a month who else provides support for my clients and who else gives me an option to sell domains as cheap as namecheap for $8.88 and still make a small profit?
Not many I can assure you of that.
Docketthost has informed me that they wil also be bringing out packages with cpanel and modernbill for as little as $30 a month.
Its took me 90 Minutes to learn H-sphere and I can assure you it leaves WHM for dead. For me cpanel is a better alternative as the scripts I sell work with cpanel but I am ready to make changes and move forward rather sticking with something that is not as secure and over rated.
Thats my opinion from my experiences I hope it helps.
Joe
