Hello all!

I have in mind to begin a bussines by managing, building servers.
This activity can be performed over the Internet, but here's something I want to know: let's say someone wants me to install a virus scanner for their email server. I'll do the job, but then how can I be sure that person will pay me the money? On the other side, I don't think he'll accept to pay me in advance. Are there any possibilities to do such thing in a convenient way for both parts?

Thanks very much,
John.

Welcome to the forums madmin!

Depending on the person - get 50% down. And get a contract signed - before you start to do the work & before you get the money. Most people will pay 50% up front for this type of work, I doubt you will have any problems (for that).

OK...so that's how it works, by paying 50% first and then, when the job is done they'll pay the remaining 50%.

Thanks very much for the answer!
John.
