I'm looking into registering domain names for 1 year at the cheapest possible cost. One which preferably allows web based administration (ie to change DNS servers).
I appreciate the helps.

I think godaddy.com is one of the cheapest, I use stargateinc.com

Stargate.com -- $8.85 (if you register 2 at once then its $8 each)
Namecheap.com --$8.88
Godaddy.com -- $8.95
...but I still recomend spending a little more and going with Directnic.com for $15

Registerfly.com has $9.99 registration the first year, then $8.99/year renewals. I haven't used them though (although I'm strongly considering it--looks like they offer a ton of features).

I think I've found the cheapest: cyberwingdomains.com. They're a godaddy reseller.

I don't understand. How do you figure $9.95 is cheaper than $8.85?

Strange, they seem to have raised their prices. I'm sure it was cheaper a few weeks ago...

I also suggest stargate.com.
With godaddy, you have to pay for everything that stargate includes.
onlinenic.com is the cheapest I can find... starts at 7.99 and goes down to 6.69. Not too sure about their service though, I ran a search through WHT last week or so some people say they're not too good... anyone over here know better about them?
How about directi.com? Only $8.49 /year for .com/.net/.org.

But what is included with that? I get tons of services with stargate.com (8.85) that aren't included with directi or godaddy.
