I am moving my sites from my current host and looking for a new one.

I need NT, SQL 7 --

But at my current host I'm able to customize the imail web messaging and put my clients logos in, etc ....

see http://www.killerwebmail.com for a great example of what can be done with imail.

So far I haven't found any other hosts who are willing to allow this, innerhost come to mind, even though it's a really simple change to the imail settings.

Anyone find a company that is allowing this ?

Are you referring to a solution whereby customers can have their own (their name)@(your domain) type of a setup? Because I've always wondered how that was done myself and if it were possible on a shared server level.

Are you intending this setup only for your customers and their employees, or are you intending to make this a free e-mail service offering?

That makes a big difference.

Ok -- perhaps the killerwebmail was not the best of examples.

I don't want to allow free email.

I just want to have my clients, whose web sites I develop, have acces to imail's web messaging.

But on top of that I want the imail to be customizable per host --

if you look @ the imail documentation (ftp://ftp.ipswitch.com/ipswitch/manuals/imail6.pdf) it states that you can alter the template per virtual host. So every mail.mycompany.com can have it's own unique look & feel.

Here are some excerpt from the imail6 manual. ( FYI: I got this setup working @ the office )

"Web Messaging administrators can use .html templates to customize, by host, the look of the web pages where users access mail and edit their settings."

Page 263 Appendix H: Changing the look and feel of Web Messaging:
"...If you have multiple mail hosts, each mail host can have a different Web Messaging interface.

Continues on page 264:
"If you have multiple hosts, you can create a web directory for each host....copy the web template from the default directory to the web directory
specific for a mail host -- the [Imail Top Directory] \ [Domain Name] \ Web \
directory, and customize the template for that host only."

so looking for a host who will give me ftp access or copy my files into that directory ...
