Hi.

I wonder your opinions about .info domains for hosting.

I registered hostinfo.info about a couple weeks age and then designed a website for this domain for hosting: www.hostinfo.info

Server spec etc are quite good but i still think about the domain name whether i choose the correct extension or not...

Thanks

CK

I wouldn't use an extension that you've already used in your name... hostinfo.net or .com is much better than a repetition of info, IMHO.

Also see if one of related mail is:

info@hostinfo.info

IsnT it easy to remember?

My advice is the same. .info can be good for some things, such as hosting.info could be a great domain for hosting information or to surreptitiously promote your site. However, somethinginfo.info is confusing. For instance webhostinginfo.com would be preferable, but if unavailable, webhosting.info would be pretty good. However, webhostinginfo.info---keep trying to find a better name.

Also, for all its made out to be, .info domains generally don't get as much respsect as .coms and .nets. Just one of those wierd things, that people are used to the common ones, and if its different, its not as good.
