It is possible, but not real useful.
you can try chilisoft for linux, but licence price is very hight
Free option is to install apache-asp but this is asp module for perl scripting only (you already have it as cgi)
In short
Real asp you can have only on windows and it work great with asp.net and MS-SQL combination
For linux go with php-mysql combination

ASP is never meant for linux..Why do you want to try that?

Obviously, you're right: "ASP is never meant for linux".

But I was wondering if this kind of tool or module exists to run ASP code on linux plateform...
Why ? I would say: why not to target customers coding their websites or applications with ASP ?

Such a thing could be nice (maybe a dream): choose a hosting plan where you can run PHP or ASP without to worry about.
Unfortunately I'm not a developper so... and probably it's not possible to do that...

What do you think about ?

Hsphere will let you sell both from the same control panel.. Provided you have both a linux and a Windows box. Just thought I'd chime in :)

Plesk control panel has an option to run "ASP" and "Frontpage" under apache.

There's a module for Apache http://www.apache-asp.org/ , which is what Plesk, cPanel, etc use. But like most say, ASP was made for Windows, on Linux it won't be the same.

i think run asp and php on windows is a better choice.
php has a win32 version

asp has to run via an emulator type system on linux, so is not as 'good' as on a windows machine.

I think you should be choose the O.S. according to client needs.
Today you can buy both Windows and Linux Hosting for less than 10 dollars (1+1). Why choose other solutions?
Anyway, I've used Asp Chilisoft 4 years ago and was very good for a ASP scripting, there are some limitations, but WORKS GOOD.
