Hi everyone,

Please be aware I won't be around WHT (or any of my usual haunts for that matter) for the next few days until Sun midnight (American EST time), as I will be heading down the coast from where I am for plenty of beach, sun, surf and s... err... Better leave that last one out :)

Basically it's one of my tri-yearly escapes from the Net - no computer, no modern amenities, no nothing, plenty of  so don't expect to hear anything out of me. The other mods will cover as per usual while I'm away.

Play nice while I'm away, won't ya? :D

ROFLMAO!

You could say I was going to a part of the coast where it's Florida-like :D except the difference is I'm 12,000 miles from Florida in Melbourne. LOL

Btw, anyone know that Florida has a sister city for us - Melbourne, Florida? ;)

Welcome. Sorry to hear that you have no Florida in Australia, by the way: Every country should have place for people who obsess over dimpled chads.

Is it just me, or do you call both BC and I "chicken" ???

As I've mentioned before, the two of you look so virtually identically alike, I oftentimes have difficulty making a distinction between the two of you, BC.

Please accept my humble apologies. This is the result of having spent my life entirely in Moldavia, herding goats.

Etlux - clue the newbies in please...what the difference, race, sex, what? I know it's something real obvious. Curiousity got the best of me. :)

BC - Have a nice trip!

Just for reference, here is a picture of me:

Easily distinguishable...

Me: Quite fuzzy, yellow all over except for the part around my peepers which is a quite pastey, glow in the dark, hypnotic whiteness.

BC: Although I've never seen him, I'd imagine BC is significantly less yellow and fuzzy, quite possibly sports a built-in tan?

Me: Username of Chicken.

BC: Username of BC.

Me: Running for president.

BC: Possibly runs from wild sheep?

I thought it was the sheep that got worried when BC was around... or maybe it was Chicken? Still confused about which is which.

et,

Nah, it's not the sheep who run away when I'm around. It's just the Chickens that run, because they all know I cook up a mighty chicken stir fry :)

Anyway, as you can probably tell, I'm back about 15 hours earlier than I expected, due to the camp being cut short due to not enough people staying tonight (a Sun night, as everyone has to work Monday). That said, it was a great time (as is always), with plenty of beach, swim/surf/boogie-boarding, perving, and of course, great friendship (and possible romances, but let's not get into that for a while :D).

The downside? My lips are killed from playing trumpet for hours on end; I had a very nasty hangover this morning (serves me right for sculling Stollis at 2:30 a.m. in the morning); 2 consecutive 21-hour days induced by alcohol; etc. etc.

As a result, I now have a new layer of tan to show off and a refusal to show up for work tomorrow :D

I thought they were censoring swear words like w**k and h***st l***ng on the boards for us more easily offended types. Now I must be excused...my government cheese sandwich is ready.

I can't even spell vacay...vayca...holuhda...relax time any more myself.
