Hi,
What will happen if a user account exceeds disk quota. Its in WHM/Cpanel.
I have a user who has reached the quota limit, just wondering what will happen.
Thanks

I would assume you would just start getting errors when trying to upload stuff. The os itself is doing the qouta so when you try and upload something even via ssh(extacting a file or wget) you would just get a bunch of errors.

Depending on how the hosting company has setup the server 2 things can happen.
1. Some host set it up so you can still operate and use the site and nothing happens.
2. Some host set it up so the account automatically gets suspended for over use of resources.

Hi Neogen,
From Client's view,
1) Obviously ,he won't be able to upload files
2) He won't be receiving mails and the issue is that sender won't get bounce message also.
3) He won't be able to delete messages from webmail.
4) Some cases he won't be able to move his files even..
From hosts view, depending on the configuration as mgphoto said, they can suspend the site or leave it as it is..
Hope this helps
Maddy
