We recieved an order this morning, and the CC information seems to check out alright (still waiting for PaySystems to fully authorize it though), but the email he provided is invalid and I cannot send him the welcome information.

Should I refund his money, or does anybody have any other suggestions?

Why not just call the customer?

Or if he didn't provide a phone number do a WHOIS on the domain he wants to host with you.

I have to get some more sleep, hah, yes I will phone him as soon as PaySystems validates it

The domain has absolutely no personal information on it

Setup the site with a placeholder on the domain with a request that the client conact you via email.

Sooner or later they will go to the domain name to check if its working.

They don't have the nameserver information.

Sooner or later, he/she will contact you asking what happened to the order.

Perhaps you could consider that the user is a complete newbie, and is having trouble setting up the email account at home?!

I had this happen, acually it was my very first customer, they misspelled it. At anyrate, dont cancle/refund, eather call or let them email you. When they do not get any information in a day or two, they will be contacting you. Also, as a small percation, if you allow them to choose a username/passwd on the signup forum, I would not fully activate their account until they contact you.
