I was almost embarassed for some of the comments the NBC commentators made tonight. The ceremony itself was impressive and like you say, a couple times I wish they would have just been quiet. Example: Did anyone catch some comment the older guy made about one of the presenters(?) or their relatives having fought for [I want to say "Hitler" forgive me if I'm wrong] and the commentator said something like "...probably didn't know what he was fighting for, but he was willing to die for it anyway" and then he chuckled!
