Define "Class A" please

Class A, IMHO, would be considered a building with power backup (generator or large UPS's), FM-200 fire suppression, caged areas and 24 hour security guard(s) watching cameras, etc.

The facility we are in has all of that plus tons of bandwidth and fiber providers.

20amp circuit, 120volts (You don't need more for a rack usually) Just to let all know, you need about 35-45 amps for a full cabinet. 20 amps gets you about half full.

Class A space is generally referred to office space quality and there is no clear definition of A, B, C; it's more subjective than objective. It's the highest priced office space and is normally very nice looking.

30 1U single proc 180V machines i know use around 18AMPS. So most likley you will need at least double if you are using bigger machines.

Really? Our Dell 1U machines (1550, 350) use .98 amps (running) each. 30 machines would be about 29 amps.

Yeah, we have 30 1U boxs running on a single 20AMP circut. There not dells but they have 180V Power supplies and they run fine.

Ah. I forget the Dells put in 240 Watt supplies because of the 3 SCSI drives and dual procs available that can use all that power. :)
