Hello, all! I often unconsciously entered some dangerous sites, I want to know how to block those vicious sites.

first of all, use firefox to surf the net.

secondly, get one of those hosts files that maps malicious/adware/spyware sites to localhost. you can try out the hosts file from mvps.org by clicking here (http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.txt)

to further protect your system, use thunderbird as your mail client, get a good antivirus software like avast from avast.com, and get ad-aware from lavasoftusa.com.

I also want to know how. And any other suggestion?

That host file blocks alot of stuff many people might find useful, as well as it will make your browsing goofy.

What do people mean by dangerous sites?
