you can use mask forwarding. But in the address bar it will not show the page you are in to.

Say you have the site "abc dot com"

now you want to register "abcforum dot com"

and you want that when somebody types "abcforum dot com" it should be forwarded to "abc dot com/forum" but in address bar, it will show "abcforum dot com" but when you surf inside the site, the adress bar will remain as it is. It won't change as the page changes. Page changes will not be affected over there. It is very well possible.

I suggest you register loadmoveforums.com before someone else does. Otherwise you will have to change your plans. When asking questions about domains, you should never post the one you want. Should be something like "ExampleForums.com".

Hey! I even didn't notice about the availability of that domain. Yes, I do agree, you should first register the domain.

If you're going to continue using the masked forwarding, then you
ought to ask your registrar if they offer that.

Are you using cpanel? If so try cpanel's addon domain feature.

Yes. Just configure loadmoveforums.com to point to the directory that houses loadmove.com/forums. Of course, you'll need a host which allows multiple domains from the same account, and you may need to pay extra.

I personally do not like using frames (or so-called "masked" forwarding): looks amateur.

An addon domain is what you're looking for. CPanel has the feature built in. Many hosts offer at least 1 addon domain even to their smallest package.

Most big registrars offer frame fowarding (masked forwarding). I still use it for different things.

Just be aware that the user's browser window will be basically frozen on that URL address. So when someone clicks on a link to OutsideDomain.com, often the URL address will still be frozen on TruckStopTalk.com/index.php. So you need to make sure that all links open in a new browser window to avoid confusion.
